Advice on Equipment

Hi all. I am returning to Bowling after an 8 year lay-off.

Naturally all my gear is very old and I would like to buy a ball or two to get going.

I was thinking of a ball for a med/oil and a ball for med/dry would be enough to get going again.

After much internet research (so much has chnaged!) I have narrowed it down to 2 manufacturers - Hammer and Dynothane. I have experienced Hammer but never thrown a Dynothane, so they are unknown to me.

With respect Hammer, I have narrowed it down to 3 balls: No Mercy, Raw Pain, Raw Doom

As for Dynothane, I am thinking about these: Element Zr40, Threshold, 44 Magnum, Sniper

Can anyone comment on these balls? Any combination of this gear stand out as a good choice?

Hey Pete,

As for Dynothane, Brenton Davy would be best to talk to regarding these balls...

As for Hammer Lawrie Hill is the Australian Distributor for these and Jason Walsh also is sponsored by that manufacturer!
