ADSL Providers

I am going to get ADSL any thoughts on which provider I should use? I am leaning towards a mob called iiNet they have a 256 lite plan for $50/ month that seems a good place to start and I can upgrade later if 3Gb is not enough. Only 3month contract too! 8)

I'm with Netspace, have been for 10 or so months, and i've only call tech support once.

with rumored changes to plans as of the 1st of feb, it can only get better!

my dad provides adsl and we havent had any complants yet....australia wide we use it ans have no problems...Wizard techs its is sale number 0351447860

ADSL

i had ADSL 2 month now i use bigpond it is amazing that techinal will come over to your home and done with it, i use 3GB it will cost around $90 but depends speed mine is over 56K cause i live very close to telstra exchange office, i am gonig to get unlimited (that over 10GB) if u want download for music or game that is good idea to have that much over 10GB it will cost around $60. that is up to u weather u want bigpond, or others before u get adsl make sure look at the website about price etc, i used have dial up with bigpond for 3 yrs, but i get 10% off from telstra cause i have foxtel too. anyway i wish u good luck find the your ISP (ADSL) take care :D :D :D

I was with iinet, but moved to Dart, for no better reason than Dart has unlimited plans.

Iinet was good and if their plans suit your needs then you should go for it.

I'm with netspace at home and i'd recommend it to anybody... 70 per month for 8gb and then unlimited "free" data (data downloaded from someone inside your state)

Bigpond's service may have improved lately but anyone willing to pay their prices for so little data needs a *tap* on the back of the head ;)

Notice what norfu, u have netscape but i do have mozilla and window explore as well, mozilla is the best (that include with netscape) if u want to try check out on www.mozilla.org. what does mozilla do, well mozilla is protect your privacy it stop the pop up and etc, go and read mozilla what it has in it . i download the mozilla few weeks ago and it running well to keep puter smoothly.

Dunno if you miss read but we said Netspace not Netscape, Netspace is a ISP not a browser!

NO is not IPS but it does broswer as netscape, some people do have that on puter. dont get me wrong cause i have seen that netscape broswer before.

youre not much of a thinker are you...

NetSCAPE = Browser

NetSPACE = ADSL Provider

at home we connect at 100mbps with a 30gig downlaod limit not sure if its for everyone or dad has it cause we are the supplyer but its still good and we download pretty fast :D

if her father runs an isp then they may have a 100mbs connection to telstra directly graham?

Ahhh NO. Not unless they have optic fibre to there house!!

If father does run an ISP, i suppose it 'could' be possible that they have fibre plugged into their router at home. . . . if so, LUCKY BUGGAR!!

ADSL/ISP's

I use Inet at home, i pay 49.95 per month, three months in advance, also if i wanted to i could pay by the month, iinet is credit cards only,

But hay, arent they all,

Iinet broadband is basicly unlimited anyway, if you go over your monthly quota, (3gig) peak and off peak allowance, all that happens is that the speed that you can download at is slowed, also, in W.A. IInet is appart of the WAIX (western Australia internet exchange) and all isp's that join up to waix, get free downloads to other waix connected isp's.
