I was given this ball a few months ago, but didn't know what to do with it. Eventually, I tested a 5 - 3/8's pin with CG on my center grip line, slightly finger weighted. My hope was that I would get a ball which could clear heads, & roll up sharp, but nicely.
But I got a lot more than that.
I was correct about clearing the heads, but when this monster gets into the mid lane, it picks its self up, than flips for the pocket in an aggressive movement to smash the pins away. I don't think I've every thrown as many scouts as I have with this ball.
I must admit, I was shocked that this ball hooks more than my Yeah Baby, but I'm not worried. The drilling doesn't make it too good for carry down or gluey conditions, but it is my greatest starter ball, when the lanes are nice & fresh with a crisp, back end. Not going to be good for short patterns.
Pity they don't make any more of these, if you can get your hands on one, get it asap.
