The 5th edition of the Euro-Med Storm International Masters Challenge will be held from March 24th to April 1st, 2007 at the Pearl Bowling Center, Parañaque City, Philippines.
GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
OBJECTIVE:
This international tournament is organized by Pearl Bowlers’ Association of Parañaque for overseas and local bowlers to foster and promote competitive spirit, goodwill, friendship and sportsmanship amongst the bowling fraternity.
PLAYING RULES:
As this tournament is sanctioned by WTBA, ABF and PBC, all PBC and ABF-WTBA playing rules shall apply.
FORMAT OF PLAY:
This is a singles event and is open to all grades of bowlers (Men and Ladies). There will be 1 Division in this tournament.
OPEN DIVISION: Open to all certified foreign and local bowlers.
HANDICAP: Only Ladies will receive handicap of +8 per game.
MASTERS QUALIFYING:
Based on best of any two (2) blocks of three (3) games per block. (Multiple attempts allowed)
MASTERS QUALIFYING FINALIST: 48 BOWLERS
Top 34 highest qualifiers from the 7 days qualifying rounds plus 14 bowlers (two each day): total 48 bowlers
(14 bowlers from Daily Two Best of any 2 blocks: The highest two bowlers of each day qualifying rounds will automatically qualify to the finals)
Master Finals:
Stage One: 48 bowlers will bowl 8 games. (Scores to start from scratch)
Top 24 Bowlers will proceed to Stage Two
Stage Two: Top 24 bowlers from Stage One will bowl 8 games (Scores to start from scratch)
Top 8 Bowlers will proceed to Stage Three
Stage Three: Top 8 bowlers will bowl 7 games head to head matches, with one game position round. Total 8 games (scores to start from scratch). All games played will be with bonus points as follows: 10 points for each game won and 5 points for a draw.
Top 4 Bowlers will proceed to Stage Four
Stage Four: Top 4 bowlers from Stage Three will bowl a Step-Ladder Grand Finals. (scores to start from scratch)
In this Stage, the Step-Ladder Grand Finals format will be as follows:
Match 1: (One Game)
The 4th placed bowler shall play the 3rd placed in a one game roll-off, total pinfalls to count from scratch.

Match 2: (One Game)
The winner of match one shall play the 2nd placed bowler over one game, total pinfalls to count from scratch.
(Handicap where applicable)
Match 3: (One plus One)
The winner of match 2 shall play the 1st placed bowler over one game, total pinfalls to count from scratch.
(Handicap where applicable)
If the 1st Placed Bowler Wins This Game, The 1st Placed Bowler Will Be Declared The Champion Of The Tournament.
If The Challenger Wins, One More Game Will Be Played (Total Pinfalls To Count From Scratch & Handicap Where Applicable) The Winner Of The Second Game, Shall Be Declared The Winner Of The Tournament.
