2012 Queensland State Team Roll offs

Just a very early post with regard to the 2012 Adult team roll offs.....

Whilst no centre has yet been tendered, I can advise that the roll offs will be held on the weekend of 26th and 27th May 2012, as per the NATIONAL Calendar. Format still to be confirmed, but more than likely very similar to this years - 18 games, three lane patterns. First 4 past the post and 2 selected.

Bowlers are advised that they will be required to complete an all events entry in either the Qld State Championships, (5 -7 May 2012 at a Southern venue to be confirmed), OR the Northern Zone Championships June long weekend (also at a venue to be confirmed). Those bowlers intending to nominate for 2012 teams, who have not participated in a Queensland State training squad in 2011, are advised that they should participate in the final STS for the year - Mt Gravatt on the weekend of 8/9th October. Details of this squad is on the TBAQ Website.

It is anticipated that entry forms should be available BEFORE leagues finish for the 2011 year with full details.

Also, as per this year, ALL nominees are required to have TBA Silver membership.

Tenders have now been sent out to the centres for both the roll offs and the championships, and it is anticipated that the venues will be publicised by the end of September.

Broni is there going to be a STS early next year or is the one in October our only option ?

At this stage the only STS for next year is scheduled for September, exact date will be known following the TBAQ Calendar meeting on 19/09/11
