Hello all and welcome to 2011 and hopefully another great year of bowling for all. I would like to let all NSW bowlers know that the Annual Rolloffs for state selection into the NSW zone team are just around the corner.
This Year the Rolloffs will be held on the weekend of Saturday the 26th of February and Sunday the 27th of February. On the Saturday we will be bowling at AMF Villawood and on the Sunday we will be bowling at AMF Blacktown.
There are 2 divisions the Restricted team which is for male bowlers with an average of 184 or less and for women bowlers with an average of 174 or less as of the 31st of December 2010 in there league. Also there is the classic team which is for males with an average of 199 or less and for women with an average of 189 or less as of the 31st of December 2010 in there league.
Both the Restricted and Classic teams will rolloff together with the top 7 male and female bowlers in the Restricted team Scratch pinfall with Handicap making the NSW Zone team and in the Classic Team the top 3 male and top 3 female bowlers making a mixed team of 6 bowlers who will represent the NSW zone.
Entries for this Rolloff close last mail on Friday the 18th of February 2011, details of the address to mail to can be found on the entry form attached.
Attached is the entry form for you to look at with all the details relating to the Rolloff as well as your responsibilities if you are successful in making the NSW Zone team.
The 2011 Darrell Holt Restricted and Classic challenges will be held at Gold Coast Superbowl at Burleigh Heads from the 21st of August till the 1st of September this year.
So if you would like to represent your state Zone of NSW and have lots of fun in the process then this is your Challenge and remember as we always say the Darrell Holt Restricted Challenge is run by the Bowlers for the Bowlers of Australia.
