2010 Queensland State Team Roll Offs

Nominations have now closed for the 2010 Queensland Rachuig, Seniors and Restricted team roll offs, which are being held this weekend at Mackay Leisure Centre.

On behalf of the Queensland Adult Committee, I would like to thank all those bowlers who have expressed their desire to be a part of one of the Queensland teams, and wish them all a safe trip up or down to Mackay.

It is very hard to find a happy medium when it comes to organising roll offs for state teams, and the size of this great state of ours is just an additional factor that has to be considered when trying to organise an event that is deemed to be fair to all participants. Meeting half way in Mackay is just one way to ensure that bowlers from both ends of the State are given the same opportunities to represent their State at the National level, without any perceived notion of one end getting a better deal than the other. We very much appreciate the efforts that the nominating bowlers have made to support QUEENSLAND bowling in this years' roll off in Mackay

Results from the roll off will be posted after the formalities have concluded on Sunday afternoon.

For NQ Bowlers,

The RACQ website currently shows no major issues between Townsville and Mackay, so hopefully all will be OK.

Are the scores from today online anywhere?

Sorry for delay in scores updates, finding internet range has proved to be a little difficult for most of us.

Am ATTEMPTING confused to attach scores for all roll offs after 12 games......am hoping that it turns out, but my little netbook doesn't have excel so the link may not work. Humblest apologies if nothing happens!

We will endeavour to find a way to put all final scores up once the final 6 games have been bowled and the teams announced, but it may not be til way later tonite when we get home from rainy rainy Mackay

Have had some great bowling, highest score so far was a 290 from local bowler Shaun Dunn.
