The bowling schedule for the rest of this year is a little hectic with Dunn Shield, Emerson Shield, Australian Cup & Australian Youth Cup filling in the weekends. As a result to try and make sure everyone who wants to bowl is free to do so, we've selected the 19th & 20th of December as the weekend for the final this year. Please leave your name and squad selection.

Saturday 19th December - Qualifying Stage 1
Squads are limited to 36 bowlers.
Squad 1 – Check-In 10:30 am / Bowl 11:00 am
Lanes to be Re-Oiled Between Squads
Squad 2 – Check-In 2:30 pm / Bowl 3:00 pm
Bowlers bowl 8 games on the WTBA Athens (40ft) pattern
Female bowlers to receive 8 pins handicap per game.
Top 16 bowlers progress to Qualifying Stage 2
Pinfall will carry over to Qualifying Stage 2.
Sunday 20th December – Qualifying Stage 2
Check-In 9:30am / Bowl 10:00am
Top 16 bowlers from Stage 1 will complete a further 8 games.
Bowlers will alternate each block on the Short then the Long pattern (i.e. 2 Games on Short, 2 Games on Long, 2 Games on Short, 2 Games on Long.)
Patterns will be WTBA London (44ft) & WTBA Los Angeles (36ft).
Top 8 bowlers progress to Elimination Round 1.
Pinfall will be dropped at this point.
Sunday 20th December – Finals Series
Lanes will be oiled ODD Lanes with WTBA London and EVEN Lanes WTBA Los Angeles. There will be NO re-oil between finals stages
All matches will be 2 games with total pinfall deciding the winner.
Females bowlers continue to receive 8 pins handicap.
In the event of a tie, bowlers will contest a 9th/10th Frame Roll-Off. There will be NO handicap applied in this situation.
Quarter Finals
M1 - 1st vs 8th M2 - 2nd vs 7th M3 - 3rd vs 6th M4 - 4th vs 5th
Winners will progress to Semi Finals.
Losers will be ranked 5th - 8th according to positions after Qualifying Stage 2.
Semi Finals
M5 – Winner M1 vs Winner M4 M6 – Winner M2 vs Winner M3
Winners will progress to Final.
Losers will be ranked 3rd & 4th according to positions after Qualifying Stage 2.
Final
M7 – Winner M5 vs Winner M6
