2009 Illawarra Junior Championships. Please find attached entry form for 2009 Illawarra Junior Graded Championships including Graded & Classic masters and the AMF Illawarra Junior Open.
To be held on Sat and Sun 15th and 16th August 2009 at AMF Illawarra StrikeZone.
This event is open to all bowlers under 18 years as at 1/1/09. See attached entry form below. Come on join us down in the Illawarra ( which has been holding junior tournaments since 1966).
This year all the Masters finals and the AMF Illawarra Open has an increased prize pool thanks to our sponsor AMF and Illawarra TBA Association, while keeping all entry fees at 2008 level.
Get in early as masters numbers and squad availability have been reduced. We have booked our lane allocation so if you want your preferred squad act quickly.
Interest in championship attendance can be posted here but full details must be sent to illawarra.entry@gmail.com.
We at the Illawarra Junior TBC support the NSW state junior/youth web site nswjytenpin.org and will use it to post all championship scores and pictures over the weekend.
We also give thanks to totalbowling for the ability to communicate with all our juniors.
May the lanes be kind to you
Steve Johnston
Facts to consider :
Open masters winners gain paid entry to 2010 NSW state. First place open boys is now worth $400.
We are one of the few associations to hold a Classic Masters and support all graded bowlers.
We offer a quality masters event with high ranked juniors coming from ACT, SNSW, NNSW and beyond to test their skills and as a warm up against the competition for the Junior Sydney cup.
The last 6 National boy open masters winners have bowled in our tournament
