2007 Superstrike Newcastle Cup

Hi Everyone,
We are bringing tournaments back to Mayfield, Newcaslte with the inaugural Superstrike Newcastle Cup.
Mayfield Superstrike has been totally revamped with new lanes and approaches (Kegel Edge) and new design and scoring systems.
Up for grabs is over $11000 in prize money based on 70 entries with $1500 for first and money back ($200) for 24th.
It is on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of May.
Newcastle is an easy destination for interstate travellers as well with huge improvements to the airport with direct flights from Melbourne and Brisbane at reasonable times and prices. Airport is approximately 20 mins from Mayfield.
So all you bowlers who are bemoaning a lack of tournaments, well here is a quality tournament with quality prize money in a quality centre.
There are 3 motels within walking distance to the bowl for easy accomodation.

this could be interesting, you have the newcastle cup and someone down canberra is tring to organise one in belconnle on the same weekend. let see who goes where.

every one knows newcastle is ther better city.
seriously though sounds good. more tournaments the better.

Am not sure what sort of tournament is being run down in Canberra but it has been 3 years since a decent tournament was run in Newcastle.

I know both Graham from Superstrike and Peter will be and have already invested a lot of time and effort, not to mention finding some quality sponsors to get this event up and running off the ground. The centre has been totally revamped with just about new everything.

Just like the tournament previously run at Blacktown, they want to get some tournaments going again for the bowlers. Not a huge entry fee, but a really decent payout, just check out the entry form, I am sure everyone will agree.
