2006 Barossa Cup 19th & 20th August

Due the poor response to A Squad it has been decided to move both Squads forward 2 hours, to entice people into bowling A Squad as it is impossible to please everybody by having 48 bowlers in B Squad unless nobody objects to qualifying in 4 man teams.

While it is unfortunate and unavoidable that people have to pull out because of illness and injury or even finance, it will be ashame that tournaments like these will no longer exist one day. Timing may have contributed to a few entries and could possiblely see this tournament back on the usual weekend next year (if management goes ahead) it still needs support by all.
This tournament is always enjoyable even when conditions get tough.

P.S. I don't see the Under 23's winner in the line-up this week-end, if it were me I would have been the first to put my name down to mix with the elite athletes. Let's not stick just to the easy houses.
