1st 900 series in Griffith

Well done to Ivo Brighenti for bowling the centre's first 900 series in The Good Guys Scratch Singles League last thursday (I know, I'm late) With scores of 226, 235, 238 & 230 for a nice 929 series, let hope this is the start of many more for Ivo & Griffith.

Well done on the nice series. Just would like to know some stats on the centre in Griffith, ie number of lanes, type of lanes etc.....

Also are there any thoughts about hosting tournaments?

Well we are situated in a HUUUUUGE dust bowl
we are a joint centre with Griffith city cinema's next door
12 lanes
cant comment on the lanes cause i dont know
oiling machine:- AMF express
We have AMF’s 90XLI machines installed,
computers run Conqueror Pro 4.08.00 scoring and technology system.
league program is BLS 06
We ran 2 tournaments last year. 1st one was a 6 game round robin, followed by the top 50% going through to the knock out stage.
2nd one was the Griffith City championships.
both tournaments will run again this year
also have the Business challenge this month
we also have men & ladies Southwest Country Challenge sides. GRiffith hosted the 1st round for 2009.
also looking at running a junior championship mid year.
