Auckland has been selected to host the next World Masters Games 2017. At this stage Tenpin Bowling is not yet listed as one of the sports. One would hope that the NZ Tenpin executive will be actively lobbying for the inclusion of Bowling.

Evidence has been found that William Tell and his family were avid bowlers. Unfortunately, all the Swiss League records were destroyed in a fire, ...and so we'll never know for whom the Tells bowled. Sorry LOL

Having been involved in the sport of Tenpin in "The Alice" for 14 years, I know how you feel Scott trust me !!!!!. However I note June's comments regarding access to lanes from early morning to late evening for the entire duration of the Tournament. The last Masters Games we also experienced...

Did we really expect it to be Dockers ? people have to work hard and constantly be in the various CG committees face to gain recognition for the Sport - however it is disappointment that OUR sport is once again on the outer. Congratulations to the Gold Coast - to be know no...

Pity about the low participation rate, but one could only guess that reflects on the joint promotional/marketing efforts by both the local association and the center ??? . It is a pity to see the dwindling numbers in a City Championship.

WOW now I can bowl with the SA Seniors LOL WA have had associate Senior members for years seems to work ok for them. One should maybe look at it as an apprenticeship to "seniorhood" - a breeding ground for the growing mass of senior competitive bowlers KJ
