Yes it would have been nice to know the State Champs were on. I had planned to try out for the team this year, only to find out about the State Champs the week after it had all finished. Did not hear of see any info on this at our local centre. Better promotion might help increase numbers.

Pluff, I agree with the way it reads, As you can see from your B) and C) readings 16th place is invited so what happens if no international in top 16 is the 16th place now made 17th with a loss of $450 and no matchplay apperance. No matter how it reads, there will always be a 16th placed...

Grant so what you are saying then is if there is 1 internationanl bowler and they finish below 15th after qualifying they will be given the 16th place for match play. Dosen't this then mean that if the top 16 are all local bowlers the 16th placed local will not make the cut and get the prize...
