I was flicking thru the tv guide and saw simply "live bowling" on Sunday morning at 2am on ESPN , no great detail on what it was, I'm assuming this would be the step ladder final for the US open ? There is a replay on Sunday afternoon on ESPN 2 at 3pm.

The centre challenge yesterday saw only highlands tenpin & shellharbour bowl compete with Illawarra strikezone withdrawing. One win a piece to each centre with highlands taking out the handicap event & shellharbour taking out the scratch event.

On a sidenote looking forward to Andrew, Paul & possibly Steve Cowland doing their coaching clinic at highlands tenpin mittagong next month, im sure incorporating elements from the FS program, myself plus plenty of others have already signed up for it and will be a great experience im sure.

the tournament challenge on the 23rd june is conflicting with the nsw open so unsure what numbers are going to be like , if your from the centres competing and not bowling in the nsw open then ,as mentioned before check with your local centre about nominating.

I mentioned in another thread fox sports news acknowledged the win also. If a Aussie wins a major in golf or tennis its a big thing in the media, why is then different ? Belmontes win in the world champs was on all the major networks , you'd think this would have been also.

I thought it was odd when i only saw one qualifier in the first week of competition in the open ladies, thought they all must have been coming down for the 2nd week.

I bowled in the restricted tournament and noticed across the board that many bowlers were bowling 20-30 pins a game below their average. Not many big series shot at all .I like many others put it down to the challenging pattern, the front end very hard and the backend hard to tame.
