Joe Velo is a true legend of bowling, it would be great to see him. John tell him he is greatly missed and I hope he and his lovely wife are well.

Pauls near Southgate are fantastic, but Rockdale Bowls burgers where great and really fresh ... also late Tuesday nights at Carlton after a drink at the Hurstville Pub hit the spot ...

Hi Suzie - unfortunately yet another drop out. I just can't make it as we are moving back into our apartment after our year away and physically can't get there. I'll be there next year though.

We just arrived back from the US and they where charging U$105 for each extra bag of 23kg's so that's a stange number. We also where charged U$35 for an overweight bag, between 23 - 32kgs. With Qantas club you get and extra bag but maybe pack some clothes in each bag and pay $200 per player for...

I have found bowling on Synthetic lanes it is more difficult to see the roll on your ball going down the lane and therefore harder to adjust. The ball seems to just skid-hook rather than skid-roll-hook like wooden lanes. The approaches can be a nightmare as well.
