I think you are bashing your head against a brick wall mate. The old boys club syndrom is alive and well in Bowling.
I,like you think that what was the premier team event in Australia, maybe the southern hemisphere is on it's last legs and requires an urgent review as does the whole...
Only one way to go now - upwards !!!!
Perhaps this might encourage a few that dropped of the wagon over the years to get back behind the sport
Congrats Cara - lead and they shall follow
Not sure of full team as unable to find any scores/results, however my ole' mate Andy Godkin rang to tell me he made the team WELL DONE ANDY see you in Canberra
Perhaps someone should let the TBA know that one of it's members has won a PBA event, then the media/promo officer can let the rest of Aust know !!!!!!
Great job Jason - never thought that I would see an Aussie win a PBA event in my life time. many have tried and failed CONGRATULATIONS.I can die a happy man LOL
THE QUESTION NOW IS - WILL THE TBA PROMOTIONS DEPT TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PROMOTE OUR SPORT THROUGHOUT THE MEDIA BY BOMBARDING THEM...
REMEMBER THE CHARATERS OF THE SPORT, LIKE VIC BUBNIW, WITH HIS BIG FLARES AND COLOURED INSERTS ( NOT THE FLARES AND INSERTS WE KNOW IN TODAYS GAME LOL) PLUS THE DOLLY BIRDS THAT FOLLOWED HIM AROUND
KJ
I remember when
We wore REAL bowling shirts (Knapes of Melbourne were the brand of choice) you looked along the lanes and would see these well cut shirts emblazioned with colour and a SPONSORS name/logos
FRITHS were "THE" bowling shoe
The ashtrays were used for coins from open and beer...
