Queensland for a few years now has had 2 teams it started as Nth and Sth and now has progressed to Qld and Qld Invitational...................... the new format this year was to bring the state together as 1 - I for one was looking forward to bowling with our southern counterparts in 1 team...

I could not agree more - 8 hours driving 2 hours bowling..................... We all are very busy people and make the effort to attend whatever we are asked to attend.............and to completely waste our time is simply unacceptable!!!!! Leanne

Cairns to Innisfail is Open so anyone flying into Cairns is fine - just getting the bowlers here could be a problem as so many are from Townsville and further south!!!!!

The rain has stopped in Cairns and there was no damage to the bowl so providing the roads are all open then it is all systems go..........
