ARE BOWLING GAMES TOO EXPENSIVE ?

Hey Roysa, was a one off experience. I was playing 5-6 times a week and wanted to take it further. It was a membership at Springfield in Brisbane. Greg Normans course. Basically covered play a round each day, tournaments each weekend and coaching session a week. Lot of money, but I just wanted...

Best Low Hook Balls for Lanes with Little Oil????

DV8 Hellraiser Revenge Lane 1 Black Panther Ebonite Elevate Roto Grip Defiant I think these are the most aggressive currently on the market. The backend on the Ebonite Elevate is rediculous.

I don't really see why people need to know these kinds of details anyway. It's a Bowling Forum not a personals site.

How important is a Urethane Ball in your Arsenal?

I am looking for a new Urethane and just happened to notice that a lot more brands are releasing Urethanes than 5 years ago. Possibly because there is more demand for one now. So who here uses a Urethane ball in their setup? When do you pull it out? How often do you pull it out...

Best Low Hook Balls for Lanes with Little Oil????

Totally agree with Dousty and Mick, all the brands are making fantastic gear. As silly as this sounds, I find myself buying gear that looks good because I know it doesn't matter if I buy an Ebonite, Hammer, Storm, Rotogrip, 900 Global or even AMF. I know I will be getting a top notch ball. I...

    Where do I start?

Might give it a go. The crazy colours were a bit much. Might stick with plain old black like the old Sumo's! When I actually get around to doing it, I will post some pics.

    Where do I start?

Does anyone know where I can order a mold for a bowling ball? Yes, that's right. I am venturing in the world of making my own. Just for a hobby. I have a lot of books and information, it is defiantely something anyone can do. I have been able to use some old cores and have found some...

    What do you do?

Walk away for a few minutes and come back. I bowl bad and start to lose confidence when I go too fast. Either with ball speed and rev rate or on the approach.

ARE BOWLING GAMES TOO EXPENSIVE ?

Major zombie thread, but I don't see why it can't be re-discussed. Yes it is expensive for those that want to bowl all day long, but the decline in bowling has caused the raise in cost. At the end of the day, a bowling centre is a business and the owners and managers need to make a profit...

Best Low Hook Balls for Lanes with Little Oil????

There's a reason Storm are the most popular brand on the market. Don't get a rep like that without making top quality gear.

Whats your favorite bowling ball brand?

Didn't think I would ever say this...ever! But at the moment AMF 300 is leading the race for me. Have really lifted their game to compete with the rest of the brands IMO.

    AMF AMF The Heist Pearl

Hey everyone, Have hit the lanes again and needed a new ball. I took the only ball that was available right there and then. I was a bit skeptical on buying an AMF Ball as my experience with them was very poor. But I was told they are much better these days and are made by Ebonite. Not...

Best Low Hook Balls for Lanes with Little Oil????

Roto Grip Grenade or Storm Natural pearl for sure! I used to throw alot of revs but those days are over. But when i did, for anything dry to dry-medium the Urethane was a killer ball. Also, if you can find one the Brunswick Avalanche line are quite good urethanes too from what I have heard.
