The problem with statistics is that unless they have a common causal factor they're meaningless. Since every centre is different, lays a different pattern in their own special way, you're not comparing apples with apples. The specific one you mentioned is good though, career titles is valid

I've updated the form previously published, as the "Minimum Standard" was incorrectly advertised. This only affects Rachuig, and means women need 170 and the men 180 during trials to be considered for selection

Sadly Wayne, as much as I agree with you it doesn't seem to count any more. I see advertising all over the place like "reserve the right to check you bags" and "DVDs going cheep"

I agree it should be tough, but not 'toughest of them all' I'd like to see an honest pattern for the carnival, and a hard pattern for shield. By honest, I mean something that rewards a good shot, but punishes inaccuracy.

Having looked at the draft list I was given to pick from, and matching up the names NT have chosen, I have a theory. And I don't disagree with it either. My theory is that NT felt a team of bowlers who may be slightly weaker individually, but can train together as a unit, might be stronger...

I agree, it needs to cater to the elite. If that means basing prizefunds on 40 people not 80 to start with then so be it. Perhaps once it fulfills its purpose to the elite then it can begin pathways programmes, but that would be a way off...
