    2012 VIC 150 & AUSTRALIAN OPEN

Steve, Normally I would agree with you, however on this ocassion I must disagree. The reason being that the World Cup is always played on ultra high scoring conditions and our representatives shouldbe the ones able to best make use of them. it's been my position fopr years when putting down...

Looking for 15lb Ebonite Clear Wolf or Clear Wolverine

REckon I can get hold of one in fair condition. 2 drills tho. I will be in Brisbane in May if that helps. Can plug it and resurface it as well if necessary. It's one of the original one with the orange tinge in the clear cover.

If You Could Change 3 Things About Bowling In Australia. What Would It Be?

Here's one a bit out of left field. Instead of making the pins heavier and harder to knock over, why not make the kickbacks deader. Fewer messengers, fewer wall shots and strikes from poor shots. Not saying the power players don't deserve messengers, they do, just there are too many...

    Andy McKay - 300 - FINALLY!!!!!!!!!

Well, everyone else seems to be doing it LOL. Andy took a long time off bowling due to illness and other issues. Hadn't bowled league for 20 years. He's only got the bug back since moving to Adelaide.

    Andy McKay - 300 - FINALLY!!!!!!!!!

At 63 years young, Andy Mckay finally shot his 1st competition 300 at AMF Village in the Superleague Doubles. Used a Brunswick Lethal Revolver specifically laid out for AMF Village (FIGJAM moment here!) by yours truly. Well done old man!!!!!!!!

    Proud Dad Moment

Yet another update. Jay had a 182 game. Nothing to write home about with that,EXCEPT it was an all spare game. Most adults can't spare that well! Don't know of any 12 year olds who have that on their CV. Nice one son.

    Rooty Hill AGAIN??

Believe it or not, there were times in the past that very successful nationals were held *shock horror!!!* away from the eastern states. Believe it or not, the eastern states are not the centre of the Australian sporting universe. AS I said, I personally have no problem with the natioanls...

    Rooty Hill AGAIN??

My only concern is the financial strain constantly born by those states who have to continously travel great distances each year. It certainly does not seem fair, especially to the Northern Territorians, Western Australians, North Qlders and Tasmanians. From my personal point of view, its not...

$10,000 Sunraysia Tenpin Cup January 2012.

I agree wholeheartedly with the above sentiments. The only down side I can see is that Friday is a working day, but the drop out rate for such a great event is very disappointing, especially for all the effort the guys have put in and the hurdles they have had placed in their way. Even...

$10,000 Sunraysia Tenpin Cup January 2012.

Hi guys, Sorry to hear about the sponsors. Whichever way you decide to go is fine by me. If I had to have a preference, I would guess I would pick option A. It is still a great prizefund and losing a bit at the top would not concern me at all, as I doubt it would any of the other guys...

    AMF AMF Grip

The Grip is a mid range, assymetric, solid reactive that could well become the new benchmark ball in my arsenal. In the AMF/900Global tradition, this ball exhibits a midlane read with strong continuation characteristic, similar to my original 900Global Break. Mine is layed out with a 4 1/2"...

    The Riverland Cup 2011

I concur with everything Colin posted above. Steve and his staff bent over backwards to make everyone welcome and to make the tournament as enjoyable as possible and had to overcome some pretty unusual problems to just get through the finals. I hope all the no shows from this years event...

$10,000 Sunraysia Tenpin Cup January 2012.

Everyone needs to take into account that the finals are being taped which tends to take a bit longer. If you figure on making the televised finals, you need to book accordingly.

AMF Village Bowl - Pattern Day Saturday 11 Dec.

Up until 2.30pm only a handful of people had availed themselves of this opportunity which was a bit disappointing. Of those who did, however, most had voted 21 and 22, Beaten Path, as the favoured condition. That being said, most who took up the opportunity were tournament players and others...
